Got the most amazing shoes this week from my amazing girlfriend who always knows how to spoil me. You can see them featured in this outfit, one of the limited city pack release by nike, this colour way is from the London series and the colours are just perfect as well as being amazingly comfy! I was out in the city this weekend enjoying the beautiful weather so sunny and mild for this time of the year had to make the most of it! Spent my time window shopping an eating as always. This was the perfect outfit for when it started to get cool in the afternoon with my jeans and only jacket doing a wonderful job of keeping me warm and looking good as always! Which were complimented wonderfully by this joyrich tee which I absolutely love, it's just such a fun tee! I'm extremely happy with my life right now, the next step for me is to plan for the future, which means finding a job more suited to me and that really gives me a career to progress! I hope everything is well, and as always take care!

Lazy weekends

It's starting to get a bit colder in the mornings and evenings but it's still a lot milder then the winters I was used to in Sydney. My winter wardrobe is not getting put to full use! Luckily this weekend it was much cooler and I was able to put together an outfit I haven't worn in a long time and missed terribly, I especially lament the fact I don't get to wear these Ann Demeulemeester boots enough, amazingly comfortable and breathtaking to look at I love how these shoes give an incredibly modern yet timeless feel to any outfit. Paired perfectly with all black and a taupe jacket to compliment the light accent of the boots. Hopefully I'll get another shoot up very soon, I'm loving uploading as much as possible right now, but I'm frustrated by the lack of photos I've been taking, I need to start shooting regularly as well!! Half way through the year almost and I can't believe how quickly it's going I hope you're all enjoying this year as much as I am, take care and I'll see you all again soon!

Back Into Routine

Wearing: Black Noise White Rain Long Sleeve Tee, Evil Twin Pants
and Nike Roshe Run Sneakers.

Brisbane is slowly starting to feel like home as I get back into the routine of work, exercise and shooting as much as possible! Plus learning to really have to budget due to my rent and other expenses is a big adjustment, but I feel it is really helping me mature. Had a lovely lazy Sunday the past weekend and as you can see from above I was dressed for comfort! With a black noise white rain long sleeve tee, over the top of these incredibly soft paisley pants which are just the comfiest things to wear ever and ending with Nike Roshe sneakers which are always my go to comfort shoe. Just a very easy outfit for me to throw together that I am comfortable in all day. My next challenge in moving cities is to find creative people to start socialising with, especially fellow photographers and people willing to let me photograph them! First shoot after the big move.

This was my first shoot in a while, I'd been so busy preparing my move to Brisbane. Finally all settled into my own place, its a big shift but i'm really enjoying it so far. These shots were taken around my new place, every things a little messy but I wanted to get a shoot done as soon as I was unpacked. I threw on one of my favourite new jackets for the winter, I love the cut and colour and how it compliments these fantastic airmax's. Expect me to post another shoot asap now that I'm getting back into a normal routine of working again, also if you're from Brisbane let me know if you'd be keen to shoot or something! take care!

Transition

Wearing: Standard shirt, Vintage shorts
and Nike Sneakers

My luck at this stage of my life has not been the greatest. The job I was going to have up in Brisbane has just fallen through leaving me in a very difficult predicament. Everything else is in place for me to be moving up next week but now I'm stuck in a terrible limbo unless I can find a place to work. I have never felt as anxious or stressed as I have in the last few weeks and I feel I'm really letting some people down. Fingers crossed things change for the better very soon. I met up with Rowland last week for a very quick shoot on the hottest day we had in so long. Reverting back to one of my staple summer outfits, I love this standard shirt it's such a dark navy it suits so many outfits and the fact it's a very subtle mesh means it's extremely cool for summer, these shorts I picked up at an op shop on crown street at the beginning of summer and I love the chaotic mix of colours, that goes wonderfully with my navy suede Airmax's that give it a sporty feel and are super comfy. Hopefully my life settles down in the next few weeks and I'll be updating much more regularly. But only time will tell! Hope everyone is well and wish me luck finding a job in Brisbane.

Mood echoed in The Weather

I met up with Shannon Two Fridays ago for a quick shoot in the afternoon. The light rain that was occurring was really consistent with my emotions as an hour before this shoot i lost my job. But now on to bigger and better things starting with moving to Brisbane, which i am so excited for, a friend has offered me a place to stay, now i just need to find a job, so if anyone out there knows of anything, feel free to contact me! I have already lined up some exciting shoots and creative opportunities in Brisbane as well! I recently started the second part of my photography class and I'm learning some really interesting things which are really helping me think about each image as i create it, expect to see some shots up on my photography blog this week. The outfit featured in todays post is one of my favourite comfy winter outfits, its easy and I'm not too worried about it getting wet or dirty and its surprisingly warm! thanks to the amazing Black Noise White Rain jumper, which i feel compliments the incredibly soft vintage denim extremely well, giving it a kind of grungy/nineties feel. Already one quarter through 2014 and we're powering through, I am personally incredibly excited for the next few months and can't wait for this next stage in my life!
