Supreme dropped there look book and preview of S/S16 late yesterday and it absolutely blew me away. For the first time in a while I am impressed by the whole collection not just individual pieces. I feel that they have perfected the mix of basics and loud pieces and it really sees a return of the flashy obnoxious supreme pieces that have been so famous (see the Alfa Romeo inspired bomber, the leather jacket with diamanté filled text and the faux fur jacket) while not for everyone these pieces really showcase what has made supreme famous, there willingness to push boundaries on what is tasteful and too gaudy. While balancing the collection with fantastic basics/staples (blur motion hoodie, box logo tee's, taped seam jackets and an incredible selection of shorts, jeans and pants.) The overall 90's feel of the collection I kind of expected, due to streetwear as a whole being very influenced by the 90's right now case in point guess X ASAP, particular pieces such as the striped turtleneck and velour will be a surprise favourite for supreme's clientele this season as well as several of the retro feeling button ups.
