Air Max Day, arguably the biggest day for sneaker heads globally has come and gone for another year. For the first time Nike Australia ran a series of events leading up to Air Max Day culminating in the opening of the Max Lab To The Public. The line for entry started in the early hours of the morning with the supporters of the iconic footwear eager to get a look inside the Max Lab.
While there were no releases of the limited HTM series at the Max Lab it still drew a strong crowd sporting all kinds of heat. The Max Lab consisted of three floors, the bottom floor had a showcase of currently available Air Max models as well as a free custom Dubrae station which disappeared extremely quickly. The Second floor was dedicated to HTM, including a history and breakdown of HTM as well as a contest to win all three HTM Air Max day releases. The third and final floor had a showcase of shoes from collectors of a range of Air Max Shoes.
